Skroponeri Gulf / Skroponeri Bay

From the Venezelos Airport and Athens

You have to take the national road, Athens - Lamia road, direction Lamia, to the north.

From the Airport you take the highway, Atiki Ados,  to Athens. You have to leave the road at exit no. 8, to Lamia. After passing two tolls stations, you have two options:

1st option - Through Halkida

Immediately after the 2nd toll station, you have to leave the National road, to Halkida. Before reaching the Big /New bridge you have to leave the road towards the old bridge. 

After this turn, you have to follow the sign to Skroponeri, it is 25 kms drive. After 5 kms, It is a beautiful sea road. 

2nd option - Through Mouriki Village, an exit to Thiva

After the 2nd toll, you leave the road at the 3rd exit, to Mouriki Village. It is 20 kms drive, following the signs to Skroponeri. Taking this road, you will come from the other side of Skroponeri mountain. You will have to pass a narrow road, around a lake. Very beautiful road, a totally different view than in the 1st option.
